Obscura treats the body as an instrument: the rail gives the eye a path, the bellows hold the dark, and the optical chamber turns light into a remembered surface.

The signature is the offset circular chamber — deep enough to feel physical, restrained enough to leave room for the eye.
This chapter studies the optical chamber, twin focusing rail, bellows, and rear ground-glass back as one continuous engineered system. It is a fictional spec advertisement, not a measured product specification.
